Solly's swish
News

I have attached the calendar for this year. Some exciting this happening! Some things are new.

* Horse camp for older riders has been moved to before Districts instead of before Round-up. This allows for more intense work before districts. Activities will likely include riding lesson on a Fresian, if not a visit to Dreams Come True Farm, a visit to Ag progress days, trails rides and of course some private and very focused lessons with Cindy and Michelle.
* Cindy has completed her PA teaching certificate and accepted a new position at Vision Quest. She will teach their horse program. This is very exciting. Along with a much over due pay increase, Cindy will enjoy sharing court-appointed youth to the life lessons with horses as part of their rehabilitation.
* I have added a trail ride in Gettysburg. Cindy will only charge for hauling. Dates may change if reservations can't be made. This should be a lot of fun! If it is a success we will look into having an "end of the year" trail ride in the fall, hopefully with a possibility of parents joining the ride.
* Cindy will continue to show her Arabians in rated shows. There are opportunities for students to show her horses in amateur/youth classes, let Cindy know ASAP if you have that goal.
* Path Valley will host a clinic with Cindy and Carol Daniel. It will be a lot of fun. Please make every effort to attend this event!
* The winning ways clinic is again March 9th. For anyone that has attended this clinic, it is GREAT place to find high quality clothes and tack at reasonable prices. I have attached the forms to pre-register. It is $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Come with a shopping list of horse items you need. Cindy will provide transportation from the park and ride in Scotland, PA free of charge. For anyone that attends there will also be a Whoa Nellie Sponsored trip to the Penn State Creamery ;-D Winning Ways Flyer
* Cindy has received so many compliments on the sweatshirts! There is no minimum order for more, so if you would like to order more, they cost around $30 depending on shipping and sizes run large. Orders can be emailed to beidelgraphics@embarqmail.com
* The Path Valley Saddle Club is putting together a sponsor book similar to 4H's sponsor book. It will be used all year for all the shows. Feel free to put your business card in or a message to your favorite rider. The form is attached, but please don't feel obligated.   2013 Sponsor Form
* As always, comments, suggestions and feedback are always encouraged! It is amazing the growth in everyone this past year!

Thank you all for your continued support. I couldn't be more proud of the young women and men that my students are developing into, and the horse deserves the credit. There is something in a manure fork I can never teach, but always see in my students.

I thank God everyday for putting such wonderful clientele in my life, along with a loving, supportive, resourceful, and builder husband!

Jeremiah 29:11-14 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Hold on to the reins, it is going to be an INCREDIBLE year!

With Utmost Regards,

Cindy Jewart
